1. Dear friends, I had launched this petition on change.org about a month ago to name new Islamabad International airport in the name of Edhi sahib. However , when I later learnt that this airport has already been named as Liaquat International Airport , ie in the name of Liaquat Ali Khan , the first PM of Pakistan, I stopped the followup on my petition. After the sad demise of our great hero Edhi sahib, many people are signing the petition, 38,200 people have signed as I write these lines. 2. I am now in a fix what to do next , how to convert this petition to name some other important national monument to pay tribute to Sir Edhi sahib . After a brief thought process I myself I decided to ask for naming the Convention Centre Islamabad as " Abdul Satar Edhi National Centre Islamabad " , or just " Edhi National Centre Islamabad " . With permission and support of Edhi sahib's lovers I have amended the petition. KINDLY KEEP SUPPORTING.
