*Warning* One step towards transparency was taken yesterday when the Contra Costa Sheriff  released the video evidence of Tyrell’s shooting. This is a deeply disturbing video and not recommended for everyone. We are horrified by what we see here and cannot understand how the Sheriff thinks this video justifies Officer Hall’s actions, especially as it is released on the same day DA Diana Becton announced felony charges against Hall in the 2018 shooting of Laudemer Arboleda. One thing we can all be sure of is that this video wouldn’t have been released before September without community pressure.
