As we take a step back to appreciate the national significance of Chauvin's guilty verdict on all three counts, we also celebrate a minor milestone of our own. Today in the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors meeting Sheriff Livingston announced that tomorrow (4/21) they will release the bodycam footage of Tyrell Wilson's shooting. Previously, the Sheriff had claimed that this would be released in September. We are just starting, but already we can see the efforts of the family, their legal team, and all the community members who have stepped up, bearing fruit.
