Yesterday's public memorial for Tyrell Wilson, and belatedly for Laudemer Arboleda, was a moving and impactful event. We were honored to hear the voices of Taun Hall (mother of Miles Hall) and Wanda Johnson (mother of Oscar Grant), as well as many other activists and concerned citizens. Given the demographics of Danville, putting pressure on local authorities depends on white allyship for black and brown people who disproportionately face the brunt of police violence. Thanks again to everyone who showed up yesterday as well as to all those who have signed and shared this petition!
