Contra Costa County Animal Services has a unique opportunity to hire a compassionate and caring Director of Animal Services as the incumbent has announced his intention to retire at the end of 2014.  This is also an opportunity to radically change the way our companion animals in the shelter are cared for and found forever homes by introducing the No Kill Equation in an attempt to increase live save rates.
