Here is the slate of Transformers projects that should be put into production:

Optimus Prime - A solo Optimus Prime film was reportedly in development after the success of Bumblebee. However, Lorenzo shut it down, claiming that the idea was stupid.

Beast Wars - A live-action Beast Wars film was in development alongside the other projects. Lorenzo and Paramount made the decision to mix some ideas for the film into Rise of the Beasts.

Bumblebee and Optimus - A Bumblebee/Optimus Prime buddy movie was in development alongside the solo Optimus film. Again, shut down by Lorenzo and some ideas that were tossed around for this film ended up being mixed into ROTB.

Live-action TV Series - A live-action Transformers TV series was reportedly being developed as a continuation of Bumblebee that would introduce more Transformers characters and tease the threat of Megatron. The series was apparently shopped to Paramount+ and Amazon Prime.

Transformers - A direct sequel to Bumblebee, simply titled “Transformers” (working titles included “Transformers: The Movie” and “Transformers 1990”) was in development. Set in 1990, the film would have followed Optimus Prime and the Autobots taking refuge in New York (specifically Brooklyn) where they would meet Noah and Elena. Megatron would have been the main villain, with the Decepticons setting up a base in Africa near Mount Kilimanjaro. Joseph Kosinski of “Tron: Legacy”, “Oblivion”, and “Top Gun: Maverick” fame was reportedly set to direct the film as his next project after Maverick. Travis Knight would have also produced the film. If the script had been made and the plan for a TFCU had been followed, Transformers would have hit theaters in 2021.
