As one of the many fortunate owners of  the Gravity Falls coloring book, "Don't Color this Book It's Cursed!!". I know how unique and amazing this obscure book is as a fan of the show.

The book released back in 2017 a year after the show ended . It was discontinued without announcement around 2022. This abrupt and sudden discontinuation left numerous fans disappointed and unable to acquire their own copy. The scarcity has driven resale prices up to an exorbitant $308 on platforms like Amazon and on eBay - a price far beyond what most fans can afford. 

The question arises - if other Gravity Falls books can remain in production like Journal 3 and Lost Legends , why not this beloved but obscure coloring book ? I believe that all fans should have equal access to this unique piece of Gravity Falls merchandise , not just those who were lucky enough or could afford inflated resale prices online.

I call upon the publishers and rights holders to reinstate production for the Gravity Falls coloring book "Don't Color this Book It's Cursed!!". By doing so, they would be respecting fan access and ensuring fair access for all.

This other book however is a different story . The Gravity Falls art book by Dark Horse was ready to be published in 2020. But for unknown reasons Disney did not release it and was never told to Alex Hirsch why. That same year Disney would release a different Gravity Falls book without his involvement. Numerous movies and TV shows have been getting art books showing concept art. Even Duck Tales 2017 got one and there is even the upcoming The art of Amphibia book coming out in 2025. A huge missed opportunity was not releasing the art book of Gravity Falls during the show's 10th anniversary in 2022. But it would still be good to finally release it as well.
