Incredible news, Gillette and Campbell County! Thanks to your tireless grassroots efforts, we've successfully secured continued City of Gillette funding for Gillette Reproductive Health (GRH)! Last night, the City Council and Mayor voted 5-2 in favor of maintaining this vital funding.

Voted FOR City Funding:

1. Mayor Shay Lundvall
2. Councilwoman Heidi Gross
3. Councilman Jim West
4. Councilman Tim Carsrud
5. Councilman Nathan McLeland

Voted AGAINST City Funding:

1. Councilman Jack Clary
2. Councilman Chris Smith

This victory is a direct result of the hard work of every single person in our community who signed the petition, called, texted, and emailed the Mayor and city council members, and advocated passionately for GRH. This clinic provides essential healthcare services to low-income women and men in our community, and your dedication has ensured they can continue their crucial work.

 
Our Next Fight: Securing County Funding for GRH
While we celebrate this win, our work isn't over. GRH has also applied for 1% funding from the Campbell County Commissioners. As many of you know, the County removed funding for GRH back in 2020 due to the same baseless accusations and false rumors that they perform or refer patients for abortions. These claims have been debunked time and time again, yet certain individuals in our community continue to spread misinformation and attempt to sway our elected officials.

We cannot afford to be complacent. We must continue to work together to convince our county commissioners to approve funding for GRH. Imagine how many more people they could help in our community with this crucial support!
