Respected Sir,

This Petition is regarding the issue that we are facing daily during our commute(Especially Timings) from Hosur to Bangalore through Southern/Western Railways.

We would appreciate the efforts of Southern/Western Railways to operate this passenger train mainly for IT professionals & Daily wagers who commutes from Hosur to Bangalore. We are highly dependent on this Train service due to unavoidable road traffic issue in Bangalore.

We are around 900 commuters who are travelling from Hosur to Banglore for their daily jobs. Most of them are working in MNCs like Infosys,Wipro,TCS,CTS,Oracle,Philips,Cerner,NBAIR,CSM Software,Accenture situated in most of the IT parks in Bangalore.

From the past few months we are facing unacceptable delay in train timings which is causing us lot of Inconvenience. We already highlighted this issue to our respective Railway Station master and posted in most of Online forums but our efforts went vain.For Ex:- A train that is suppose to depart from Hosur Station @8:15AM(Hosur to Yesvanthpur Passengers Train No:06591) is departing @9:00AM from Hosur which lacks the main purpose of this train.Delay of 15-20 mins is tolerable, but there is a usual delay of 60 mins from past few months. Root cause for this issue is

1.Single Railway Track between Hosur to Bangalore(Contonment & Yesvanthpur) which is leading to more than 100 percentage usage of track.

2.Previous trains especially Express trains, which are delaying a lot due to crossing.

3.No Time management.

Because of all the above reasons our entire schedule for day in office are getting disturbed and leads to dip in productivity/Hourly based billing.

Suggestions:

1.Conversion of Single track to double track between this stretch.

2.Maintain a strict schedule of train timings.

3.Management of train crossings effectively

We will be really grateful if this petition is taken in to action and our concerns are addressed.
