Subject :- Extra 1 rupee in each provision store for Amul milk.

I am facing this issue wherever I go. Whether I change the store,change the area or even the city.

Brief :- Everyone knows that MRP=Maximum Retail Price means customer has to pay price marked as MRP on item or less than that(if shop-keeper is familiar to you,quite possible !!),not more than that(Government Rule). If you seek bill(Good job !!) then also you have to pay on total expenditure and there stands a reason for seeking bill that is preventing black-money. But by seeking one or even two rupees extra shop-keepers are looting us.

My story :- I bought milk(Amul Taja-10 Rs.) from the store nearest to my room. They charged 1 rupee more i.e 11 Rs. Here is the argument-counter argument:

Me :- But uncle, MRP is 10 Rs."

Shop-keeper :- We are not taking directly from Amul , we are taking from their retailers. They give us at 10 Rs. And we keep it in refrigerator so electricity is also
there. That's why we are taking 1 rupee more.

Me :- Okay,but you can't take more than MRP.

Shop-keeper :- But then how will we make profit ? 1 rupee at least be there as profit. If you want to buy from any where else then you can buy.(Then took back the milk-pouch and started doing his work).

I gave him one rupee extra. I thought he is playing with me.So I decided to go again when he will not at shop(He and his wife are driving the shop).

I did that. She gave me very beautiful reason.

She said,"We are bringing the milk from the retailers on scooter,and we are wasting petrol . That is the reason."

I mean,seriously ??

They may have their side,but for that you can't cheat your customer. If you really want to sell , then be a legal seller by making parlor or else don't sell it.

Then I complained to Amul customer care and they assured me of bringing solution of it in 3-5 days,but they didn't do anything after 10 days also. So many complaints are there on Amul online complaint forum.

Why not to Consumer Forum directly ??

It is obvious that no one will complaint for one rupee and even if you complaint in consumer court then also it will cost you around 400-500 Rs. That is the reason no one complaints against them. I know that all of you are facing this problem either for this or for other cold-drinks.

That's why I came through this way.

Request to Consumer Forum

It is my request to Consumer Forum to look into this matter as well as for all other food items/cold-drinks . And solve as soon as possible. It is a one branch of black-money tree and by cutting it down public will be able to fight for their justice without shying or thinking about the cheating cost(here 1 Rs.).

Urge to all citizens

I am starting this petition and urge you to sign as much as you can. Because I know that everyone is facing this problem everywhere. But do not complaint due to less cheating cost(1 or 2 Rs. at max.) and far more complaint cost. This is to tell the shop-keepers that customers will never tolerate cheating whether it is of 1 Rs. or of 10000 Rs.
