But D’arblay investments the obstructive landowner have still not done the right thing and withdrawn their objection to the Greenway linking Caddington Woods to The Village. If this is not done their status, their intent and their possible reasons for sustaining their objection will come under increasing scrutiny and discussion by local residents and bodies. As will the lack of progress in tackling them effectively. I want to see them withdraw and let this matter draw to a close. But if they don’t I would like to see CPOs issued and the path developed on the least favourable terms from their point of view. It will take a long time, but not as long as it has taken for nothing to come of the original plans years ago.
Compromise when it comes to the best interests of the local population should always be possible.
