Say No to Con Ed’s Rate Hike!
Are you a Con Edison customer? If so, did you know that you’re facing one of the highest utility rate hikes in state history? Con Edison and the Department of Public Service are advancing a rate hike agreement that would cost electric and gas customers like you an additional $3.9 billion over the next three years. That means electric customers can expect delivery and fixed charges to increase by around 25% in total, and gas customers will see increases of between 14% and 36%. That’s outrageous.
With hundreds of thousands of Con Ed customers already struggling and months behind on their utility bills, now is no time for such a huge rate hike.
Please join me in urging the Public Service Commission to reject this rate hike request.
Sincerely,
David McNally
