Hello Conserve Henry Petitioners,

We are keeping this petition open so it can be a lifeline to update you on important meetings that impact the overall growth of our county. 

We received word today that the Henry County Board of Commissioners is considering raising impact fees on new developments. Impact fees are one-time fees charged to new development that are used to defray some of the costs of providing things like Greenspace, ROAD improvements, E-911, Police, Sherriff's Office, Fire & EMS, Animal Control, Parks & Recreations, and Library Services. These fees are significant to offset the costs of our property taxes. 

There will be two in-person public hearings in which you are welcome to voice your support.
