The Issue

Sabra Hummus is a brand that is sold in many Caribbean supermarkets. This company has direct ties with Strauss Group, an Israeli corporation known for supporting the Israel Defense Forces' Golani Brigade. This brigade has been implicated in numerous human rights abuses against Palestinians, as reported by various international organizations including Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International.

By purchasing Sabra products, consumers indirectly fund these actions which contribute to the ongoing genocide and suffering of the Palestinian people. We therefore call upon all conscious consumers and retailers in the Caribbean markets to boycott Sabra Hummus, in light of the fact that the State of Israel has yet to respect the January 26th verdict by the International Court of Justice and continues to bomb and attack Palestinian civilians.

The majority of international governments have failed to hold Israel accountable for the numerous atrocities its militia has committed - which have been articulated and made evident in the historic case of South Africa v. Israel - underscoring the importance of the BDS movement in generating tangible consequences as a mobilized collective.

Your signature can send a strong message against regional corporate complicity in human rights abuses. Sign this petition today to stand up for justice and liberation. To defend Palestine is to defend our humanity.
