The CIAC (Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference) has recently decided to cancel all remaining winter sports tournaments due to the coronavirus. This decision is no fair to all the student athletes especially the class of 2020 who had put in so much time and hard work to play in these tournaments! This decision can impact a lot of student athletes chances at sports scholarships or exposure to colleges. This petition Is to help support the teams and athletes that want to continue to participate in these tournaments and help change the decision by CIAC and maybe pursue a different route that doesn’t impact the teams that earned their spots at a chance for a state championship.
