Susan Skipp's Children Need Her

The Issue

Urgent!

Susan Skipp will go back to court on Tuesday, August 30th. She has been fighting since 2010 for her children’s safe return to her home. She's never given up hope that justice will finally prevail.

According to the UN, " Discrimination against women resulting in the loss of child custody to abusive fathers" is happening in the US, where far too often, family courts make grievous errors in judgement when deciding custody outcomes for children of battered women.

In the Skipp-Tittle case, as in others, the children were recklessly placed with the abuser, and evidence was suppressed. Ms. Skipp is one of 2 million mothers in the U.S. who have lost children to controlling men who seek to punish women for leaving through in the cruelest way possible: by severing a mother’s contact with her children.

This human rights violation is only made possible by our tax-funded courts that failure of due diligence. Our courts are refusing to examine relevant evidence of abuse and are willfully neglecting a vast body of research on post-separation abuse.

The pattern has become shockingly frequent, but the public is paying close attention to this case. The world is watching for signs that justice exists in the U.S.
