Governor Ned Lamont intentionally lied and stated that a 6 week old infant from Hartford had just become the youngest coronavirus victim in the world.  The governor is PURPOSEFULLY leaving out information and using the death of an infant to spread fear. You will notice that he says in his statement that the death is “linked to” Coronavirus. This means that the infant did not die FROM coronavirus, but due to mandatory post-mortem testing, they determined the infant had the virus in his/her system at the time of death. Governor Lamont is attempting to pump up coronavirus numbers in order to receive more federal funding.  Enough is enough. Intentionally spreading misinformation for political gain is where this stops. Many people, pregnant mothers included, were terrified due to Governor Lamont's lies. I call on him to publicly apologize and resign immediately.
