This is the harsh reality faced by the residents of Kwaggasrand feeding from the ATTERIDGEVILLE HL Resevoir,  where the water supply from the current reservoir is unstable, leaving our taps dry more often than not. 

The instability of the Atteridgeville HL reservoir has turned our lives upside down. We deal with the stress of unreliable water supply, affecting our daily routines, health, and overall well-being. We have tried to manage through countless disruptions, but it is time for a permanent solution.

Connecting our community to the Iscor reservoir is not just an option; it is a necessity. The Iscor reservoir promises a more stable and reliable water supply. It can end our daily struggle and bring much-needed relief to our community. Moreover, a connection to this reservoir will ensure a consistent flow of water, helping us maintain hygiene and a reasonable quality of life, the Iscor reservoir connects 95% of our community, we’re just a few streets constantly without water.

Working closely with our Councillor, we envision a collaborative approach to address this pressing concern. By aligning efforts with local authorities, we can make significant progress and get our water infrastructure where it needs to be.

We urge the city officials to recognize the urgency of our plight and take swift, decisive action to link the Iscor reservoir to our community. In doing so, they will be honouring our basic right to water and ensuring that our families can enjoy a fundamental quality of life.
