Thank you again for your support of this petition. I am working to generate media coverage of Congressman Blum's fossil fuel investments and this Divest Rod Blum Petition. This Sunday (9/17) the Gazette newspaper here in Cedar Rapids will publish an Op-Ed I wrote on this issue. I have also discussed this information with reporters with KCRG and Iowa Public Radio. Those outlets are looking into this information and may put out some news stories on this issue. I challenge each of you to recruit at least one additional person to sign this petition. That would give us 500+ signatures. The more signatures we gain, the more media coverage we can generate. The more media coverage we generate, the more leverage we have to pressure Congressman Blum to divest.
