Jiayuan Zhang, also known as Frank Zhang, came with his family, from China, to the United States in September 11th, 2016. He has been here for more than four years and currently is a senior in High School. Upon turning 18 on October 8th, 2020, he was no longer allowed citizenship status in the country.  His entire family, however, has a green card and is allowed legally to reside in the U.S.. As of today, he is facing deportation in 33 days. If he gets deported, he will not graduate High School nor go to college, which would be essential to his future as an intelligent student. He has already been accepted in to multiple colleges; like University of Florida, Florida State University, as well as waiting on acceptance from several Ivy League schools. Frank has an amazing reputation and throughout his 4 years in America, he has supported homeless people in San Francisco, stood up against violence through his knowledge of martial arts, and influenced families and friends with his knowledge of philosophy. If Frank is deported, he will not be able to continue his education and he will be forced to live in another country, alone and separated from his family. With the current social and political dangers of China, Frank has no safe place to go to once he is deported. It has been his dream get an education in America, so he appreciates every opportunity he has in this country and is desperate to attain citizenship. As a resident of Tampa, Florida, Frank needs help from Congressman Gus Bilirakis to stay in the country. Signing this petition would be the key to aiding Frank in his struggle to live in the United States.
