#CameroonTPS Coalition Demands the Congressional Judiciary Committee to Push #CameroonTPS

#CameroonTPS Coalition Demands the Congressional Judiciary Committee to Push #CameroonTPS
The Issue
For over five years, Cameroon has experienced five separate and continuous armed conflicts.
Each one of those five armed conflicts are sufficient grounds for immediate immigration relief via TPS or DED.
Since 2016, the Cameroon American Council has mobilized diasporans and social justice advocates to push Obama, Trump and now Biden Administration on the urgency for immigration relief for Cameroonians fleeing 5 armed conflicts.
It is imperative that the Judiciary Committee sends a strong #CameroonTPS to the Biden administration BEFORE leaving for August 2021 recess.
#CameroonTPS will benefit nearly 50,000 Cameroonians including the 140 detained Cameroon migrant women who protested in Texas and 40 detained Cameroon migrant men who protested in Louisiana.
Please join the #CameroonTPS Coalition in asking Judiciary Committee to do more to lift those Cameroonians who fled 5 armed conflicts, crossed 8 Latin American countries, only to be detained at the U.S.- Mexico Border for seeking asylum.
Signed:
Cameroon American Council, Co-Facilitator of #CameroonTPS Coalition.
