The last two days we've been talking about the botched investigation conducted on former Virginia governor Doug Wilder, accused of...get ready for this....a non-consensual kiss in 2017.

But what about Jody Shipper, the woman who conducted the investigation that was rooted in Start By Believing and trauma-informed ideology?

Turns out, Shipper -- photo attached -- used to be the Title IX coordinator at the University of Southern California. There, she oversaw a one-sided, superficial sexual assault investigation that was later overturned by a California appeals court.

Shipper eventually ended up as the Managing Director of a company called "Grand River Solutions." Oddly, Grand River Solutions doesn't seem to have its own website, only a LinkedIn blurb. That doesn't seem to be very transparent, does it?

Wilder asserted the investigation, conducted at the behest of Virginia Commonwealth University, was “unsound, biased and violates due process.” So he issued a 15-page refutation that revealed numerous shortcomings of Shipper's probe.

Wilder blasted Shipper for dismissing important "inconsistencies and behaviors” in the accuser's complaint. He charged her with “deliberate and calculated” omission of key details from the investigative report, which was “indicative of bias and constitutes a gross violation of due process.”

“No reasonable unbiased External Investigator, without a pre-existing agenda, armed with this information, would conclude that it was more likely than not that Wilder kissed Complainant and touched her leg...This glaring inconsistency in the External Investigator's findings is beyond explanation, [and] demonstrates a blatant bias against Wilder.” Wilder concluded.
