There are over 2 million veterans including myself whose bills are in collections. However, veterans are being denied the right to receive notices that their bill is past due, that they are entitled to setup payment arrangements and inspect the bills with written verification to the veteran by the VA. These bills automatically go into the treasury offset program where tax refunds and other benefits are garnished without due process of law.
