Hello my name is Patricia Miller of Logan WV and  my main purpose of this petition is for the Legacy and in memory of my 2nd cousin  Marcella Canterbury 33 years old of Logan WV. She was a Mother, a Daughter,  a Sister ,a Cousin and a friend to many.However On 9-2-21 her life ended tragically as she was said to be unfortunately homeless and had taken shelter from the storms inside a Dumpster and the next morning the waste Management truck came and emptied the dumpster into the garbage truck where they crush and compact the garbage and unfortunately with her still inside and from there the garbage truck took it to the landfill where there when they emptied the truck Marcella fell out into view.She was said to still be alive and was rushed to the hospital where shortly after she died from the injuries she sub-stained while inside the garbage truck.Although the people of course had no ideal she had been inside. I feel the need to Honor her Memory and Legacy to bring awareness and hopefully bring a change by asking everyone to sign my petition asking our State of WV and surrounding States in the USA to make a law requiring all dumpsters to have a lock and even with locks that all Waste Management Facilities be required and demand that all employees must check inside every dumpster before dumping into garbage trucks for who knows how many homeless people we have and who may be inside one of them. I don’t think this is asking too much for Marcella’s life mattered and Nobody should ever die in this way and hopefully with our help and The Legacy Of Marcella  we can make a difference and save lives.Should this become a law ,I’m hoping and asking  that they name it “The Legacy Of Marcella Canterbury “ Or “Marcella’s Canterbury Law “in honor and memory of her.Our families are at a great loss and heartache ,but we want to make a change on behalf of Marcella Canterbury,so please take the time and sign this petition not for me ,but for Marcella Canterbury.I Thank Everyone that will sign in advance and I know Marcella would also if only she could’ve still been here and in my heart her blood cries out for if with just one peak inside that dumpster on that horrific morning by an employee then Marcella Canterbury would be most likely still with us here on earth.So this petition is so this kind of horrible tragedy never happens to anyone else.#StateOfWV #GovenorJustice #Congress #Senate #JoeManchin  #PresidentJoeBiden #WasteManagmentFacilites #USA
