Declare a climate emergency in the USA

Declare a climate emergency in the USA

The Issue

About two-thirds of U.S. adults (67%) say the federal government is doing too little to reduce the effects of climate change. It's time for the United States government to listen to our voices. The United Kingdom, Portugal, Spain, and many other countries in declaring a climate emergency. by declaring a national climate emergency, the American government will be forced to admit the state of disrepair our climate is in and finally listen to the voices of the people that have been talking so much.

If you sign this petition then the government can't ignore the fact that the citizens of America and the world care about the environment, and if you sign this petition we can make sure that there is still a safe world to live in for our children. In the first half of 2019, 7 million people were displaced by climate change. What makes this number so significant is that it is 2 times larger than those who were displaced because of violence and wars. In fact, 1 million species of animals and plants are at risk of extinction because of climate change, and eventually humans will be as well. I strongly urge you to join our cause because if the government does not take action, then the world could look like the one in that picture really soon.
