The vote was 19-6. 

The Indianapolis-headquartered pharmaceutical giant is developing a $90 million building to help its efforts to fight diabetes. As part of that, Lilly requested nearly $10 million in tax abatements.

When the proposal went before committee and was approved there last week, some expressed concerns Lilly was not planning to add new jobs as part of the request for the tax breaks.

A representative from Lilly said the company wanted to keep growing here in Indianapolis.

Can you believe this?  They want to build another building and still not reduce the price of insulin to be affordable and accessible to all.  They should never be allowed to do this.
