Former Special Counsel Robert Mueller needs to go in front of Congress for a public testimony — and it needs to happen now.

Attorney General William Barr just appeared in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee and admitted that he did not look at the evident Mueller presented in his report before exonerating President Trump of obstruction of justice.

But Mueller clearly stated in the report: the evidence “does not exonerate” the president.

Following the letter that Attorney General Barr sent to Congress and to the public detailing a summary of the report, Special Counsel Mueller sent a letter on March 27th that went as follows: “The summary letter the Department sent to Congress and released to the public late in the afternoon of March 24 did not fully capture the the context, nature, and substance of this Office’s work and conclusions.”

Essentially, Mueller told Barr that the summary letter was misleading.

It’s time we hear from Mueller directly about the report.
