We have seen mass shootings far too often in this country. While I understand that banning guns in this country is an impossible task, it is my belief that outlawing automatic weapons is not. As a gun owner, a father, and a concerned citizen I can state unequivocally that there is no need for automatic weapons and high capacity ammunition clips. Tragedies that would most likely claim the lives of several people have turned into mass killings of unimaginable proportions. From Sandy Hook, to San Bernardino, to Orlando, to Columbine, and now Las Vegas, we have suffered enough. We can make this a simple issue that brings about change.
