Members of the black community based in Canada have every right to fear the entities designated to protect the members of the community without bias.

From the late 1950s to the present the treatment of black people in Canada differs from the treatment other ethnic groups are treated.

Both the provincial, and local police have revealed the very little value placed on black people in Canada regardless of their age.

On many occasions the police force has abused their authority by using excessive force during their interactions with black people in this country which resulted in permanent physical injury, and sadly even death.

In the case of Dafonte Miller who was beaten so severely by  Const. Michael Theriault and his brother Christian Theriault that he is now living blind in one eye.

Both aggressors were found guilty of assault as opposed to aggravated assault without any further commitment to the black community that we can count on the law to keep us safe! https://www.vice.com/en/article/toronto-cop-found-guilty-in-assault-on-black-teenager-who-lost-an-eye/

Then we have the case where off-duty Const. Gurmakh Benning who beat 19-year-old Chad Facey over an Apple watch into his grave, was found guilty of assault and not murder.

Incidents like these continue daily and officials are never held accountable for their blatant and obvious disregard for the lives of our black communities here in Canada. https://globalnews.ca/news/10892385/toronto-police-guilty-assault-kijiji-sale-gone-bad-apple-watch/

Recently there has been a pattern of black youths going missing from Ontario, and other provinces.

The enforcers of the law have made minimal effort to find these missing teens, especially for the fact that there has been no mainstream media awareness to report these missing kids.

In addition to this, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) does not list the missing black youths' gender, ethnicity, or last name on their website for missing kids. In contrast, other missing kids listed show their gender, ethnicity, and last name. https://mcsc.ca/missing-children-cases/?p=Ontario&o=missing&d=desc

When 38-year-old Nathan went missing from Toronto, his disappearance received widespread coverage from Global TV, and CBC in an attempt to locate his whereabouts; however, the missing black teens have yet to receive any coverage and are seen as objects if the RCMP describes them with no last name, gender, or ethnicity in plain view on their website. https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/kitchener-waterloo/waterloo-kitchener-man-nathan-missing-toronto-1.7200028

We have seen countless black mothers mourn the death of their children at the hands of the police in Canada, and now we stand by as a community and wonder where these youths have disappeared.

The black community does not need to ask why there has been no media coverage regarding the similarities in these cases; nor do we need to wonder why all of the black youths listed in the missing kids database are described as objects since the RCMP does not find it helpful to include their last name, gender, and ethnicity in their description.

As a community, we need to stand up and take action against the repeated injustice waged against our community!

We now have missing black teens who are not runaways, criminals, or a menace to society. They are missing and there is no support from mainstream media, or law enforcement to find out why teens from our black community are being taken away at such a rapid rate.

It's every parent's nightmare to go to bed and not know where their child is! The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), lists the missing BLACK children without a last name, no gender, and NO ethnicity!

Why is that? Please sign the petition to challenge Canadian law enforcement to treat the missing black children equally!

The lack of dignity given to Malia, Malachi, Breanna, Kymani, Rachel, and DeAndre speaks volumes about law enforcement's care to locate these missing black children no matter where they're missing from!

PLEASE LET OUR VOICE BE HEARD, AND SIGN THIS PETITION TO FIGHT AGAINST SYSTEMIC RACISM WITHIN THE CANADIAN JUSTICE SYSTEM ONCE AND FOR ALL!!
