Please help save our beloved Carden‬ Conejo School that is in danger of losing its lease at its current "Triunfo Location" in Westlake Village, California.  The Conejo Valley Unified School District (CVUSD) gave only ONE DAY NOTICE to our school, that it would be recommending termination of its lease, in order to take over our facility for unnecessary district plans.    Carden Conejo is one of the finest schools you will ever find. A small, tight-knit private school that prides itself on providing an academically challenging curriculum, and places an emphasis on good morals, kindness and philanthropy.  Many alumni from this school have moved back to the Conejo Valley just to have their own children experience this wonderful school and its traditions.   Carden has been leasing from the CVUSD without issue, for 34 YEARS!  If this lease is not renewed, Carden's 185 students would be displaced and over 40 teachers and staff members would lose their jobs.  This would be a disruption to families at an established school, and could be catastrophic for many local families. Over the last two years, the parents of Carden Conejo School have raised over $225,000 that has gone directly to enhance the school and it's campus.  Two of the biggest capital improvements were just completed these last two months ($45,000 new playground and $35,000 new library), under the close supervision of the CVUSD, mind you. The CVUSD has sat and watched hard-working parents and volunteers improve this school site with their blood, sweat, tears and check books...all the while not mentioning the fact that they were considering taking it away.  This is UNACCEPTABLE governance happening in our community.  Suddenly taking this school away and depriving our children of a phenomenal education, is NOT the answer!  Please help save our children's school and the place we all consider a second home.  To know Carden Conejo School...is to love Carden Conejo School.   #SaveCarden
