A Syrian Muslim obtained permits which would allow him to burn the Torah and Bible outside of the Israeli embassy in Sweden.  �However he chose not to burn the books �, instead he said it was to draw  attention to the burning of the Qurʾān which happened last month. He turned up outside the embassy with only a Qurʾān in his hands.  He recited a verse from the Qurʾān: “The Messenger firmly believes in what  has been revealed to him from his Lord, and so do the believers. They all believe in Allah, His angels, His Books, and His messengers” [Sūrah al-Baqarah, Verse 285]
