We, the undersigned, would like to see the album "Origin" by Evanescence released to major music streaming platforms (like Spotify and Apple Music) so we could adequately enjoy its awesomeness. An extra special treat for us would be releasing the album on an actual CD that we can have in our music collections.

"Origin" is an album comprised of demo recordings that the band Evanescence recorded and self-released in 2000 before gaining worldwide fame. Over the years, this album has gained a following of its own among the band's fans and became a sort of a holy grail in the band's discography.

Praised for its unique atmosphere and raw delivery not found on the band's future releases, this album was downloaded from the Internet countless number of times by fans all over the world, due to being out of print. Some very determined fans even spend very high amounts of money to obtain an actual, legitimate copy of the record on CD. Others were satisfied with unofficial bootlegs that could have been found and bought very easily. Many of these bootlegs were actually presented as legit records by its sellers, with the intent to profit from the fandom.

To this day, "Origin" was officially released only on vinyl, as a part of the "Ultimate Collection" boxset, which came out in 2017 (https://concord.com/concord-albums/the-ultimate-collection-6lp-set/) The fact that the album was already released on vinyl suggests that there are no significant legal obstacles to release it digitally and on CD - the publishing rights of the audio recording itself seem to lie in the hands of the Concord company and Amy Lee, the frontwoman of Evanescence.

Amy, please make this happen. We know that you are not the biggest fan of this record, but quite a lot of people are, and we believe that's what matters. By releasing this album properly, you would make all those people very happy. :)
