As a concerned current student, parent of a current student, former student, parent of a former student or a person otherwise familiar with the current “incentive card “ program of Woodrow Wilson Middle School, Tampa, Florida, I sign this petition to express my opposition to the lunch line aspect of the incentive program. While I support rewarding student(s) for academic or other achievements, I do not support lining up students in different groups for lunch based on their academic achievement or lack thereof. While the current incentive card program has some positive components, I believe the current lunch line procedure is unfair, discriminatory as applied, and violates a student’s right to privacy.
