Due to Chet Mann's willfull violations of his oath of office as Mayor of Sanford, NC, we request a recall vote be taken to remove Chet Mann as Mayor of City of Sanford. We list the following as justification for this petition. 

1.Issuance of an unlawful order to require mask be worn in all business within City of Sanford, NC jurisdictions. The unlawful imposition of fines on business that refuse to comply with this unconstitutional and scientifically flawed decision.

2. Conflicts of interest in requesting city funds thru Sanford Area Growth Alliance (SAGA) be used to advertise properties that resulted in profits for known associates. City of Sanford Mayoral office supported,as member of SAGA board, the proposal for City funds to be allocated for the advertisement of privately owned property in Deep River area. Properties included were owned by family members of former Lt Governor Dennis Wicker, who also held financial interest the advancement of the development of the property. By advancing and requesting City of Sanford funds be allocated to create profits for associates, Chet Mann has allowed his conflict of interest to take precedence over the desires of the community effected. 

3. Refusal to address corruption within the City of Sanford Police Department.
