We, the undersigned, oppose the parole and/or early release of convicted murderer, Michael S. York.  He was sentenced to 15 yrs to life for this crime of murder.   He is up for parole May 2022.  He was denied parole in 2017 and should be denied again.  Many murderers kill again.

Michael York waited until Heather was sleeping and savagely beat Heather with a hammer 25 times in the head, knocking out her eye, fracturing her skull, and completely disfiguring her face.  Heather fought, putting her hands up to defend herself but Michael York smashed her hands too.  My beloved daughter died alone in the most horrible pain.  She had to be so scared.  Since Michael York killed her, he should spend the rest of his life in prison.

At the trial, Michael York's attorney said "Michael York killed his wife".  After the conviction, Judge George Martin said to Michael York, "What you have done is almost too horrible and violent.  It can't be comprehended why any person would do what you did to your wife or any other person".  Then Judge Martin asked Michael York repeatedly if he had anything to say to the family whom he devastated and Michael York refused.  He showed NO REMORSE for this brutal and planned murder of Heather.
