**Subject: Concern Regarding Proposed Thane Ring Metro Alignment near Rodas Enclave and New Horizon School Hiranandani Estate Thane*

We, the residents of **Hiranandani Estate**, would like to express our concern regarding the revised alignment of the proposed Ring Metro project.

As per the earlier plan, the metro line was proposed to pass from behind TCS  premises. However, the new proposed alignment brings the metro line directly in front of our residential society Rodas Enclave and  New Horizon School.

This change raises several important concerns:

* **Safety of children:** Increased risk due to construction activity and metro movement near the school.
* **Traffic congestion:** The already busy internal roads may face severe congestion during and after construction.
* **Noise and pollution:** Continuous construction and operational noise will impact students, residents, and the learning environment.
* **Disruption to daily life:** Movement of heavy machinery and long-term construction may cause inconvenience to residents.

6. Environmental Damage & Loss of Green Cover**
The proposed development is likely to result in the loss of existing trees and green spaces in and around the area. Construction activities will increase air pollution, dust levels, and heat, negatively impacting the local microclimate. In a city already struggling with pollution and shrinking green cover, this will further degrade the environment and affect the health of residents, especially children and senior citizens.

We strongly request the concerned authorities to kindly **reconsider the revised alignment** and  route the metro line behind TCS   ensuring minimal disruption to residents and students.

We fully support infrastructure development; however, it must be planned in a way that ensures **public safety, environmental balance, and community well-being**.

We hope our concerns will be given due consideration and appropriate action will be taken.
