Why: Lots of people at this gym are heavy lifters and need a more stable and compatible bench. The saftey racks will keep people for dropping the weight on them selfs. The spotter platform makes it easier to lift it off of them if they fail. The thicker bench is better for stability and spreads the pressure of the weight out better. Lastly the adjustable height is really important because it creates optimality for people of all sizes. Having a the start position to high or low creates a bigger rush of shoulder, wrist and and elbow injuries. Having the bench at the right height overall is safer.
