Sandy Lane Nursery, a cherished family-run nursery in Northampton, has been an integral part of our community for years. Their excellent and affordable plants have brought joy to many homes. However, their business has suffered significantly due to repeated delays in a building project by Millers Builders. This project was meant to provide new housing and a link road but has instead caused financial distress for the nursery.

The promise made by Millers Builders was simple, they would make sure the new road was open in time for the busy season at the nursery. This was not the case and sales are HALF this spring than they were last year. I think that a gesture of goodwill would be to build a structure for Sandy Lane Nursery (to accommodate a new cafe) for free as compensation for the loss of income caused due to their building work delays.

This is not just about broken promises; it's about supporting local businesses that form the backbone of our community. It's about ensuring that those who contribute so much to our lives are treated fairly and with respect.
