I just wanted to update you on one piece of information you may find interesting. I asked one of the Norfolk Councils some questions in regards to the new housing developements that were all in the local news. Here is their reply when I asked if they knew how all the surface water drainage etc linked and flowed in the area -

In regard to these areas where these new homes are to build, can you confirm that you have full plans showing the surface water drainage, showing where all surface water drainage is, where it links and where it flows/discharges to? Plus has a report been carried out to look at the state of the drainage system, e.g. age and condition.
The council does not hold any information.

I think this speaks volumes and really needs to be addressed for all our homes.
