I share this story, a sentiment echoed by most residents living in our complex. Our pets are irreplaceable parts of our families. Safety cared for indoors, these pets are no nuisance or disruption to our community 

Given these circumstances, our current complex management rules prohibiting pets are fundamentally incompatible with the lifestyles and needs of a majority of residents. We seek to make our complex more inclusive and accepting of our furry family members.

Without a doubt, we understand and respect the necessity of some restrictions to ensure the welfare of all residents. But a total prohibition is excessive and unresponsive to many residents' needs, including emotional and psychological well-being.

This is why we urge the complex management to revise the current rules and include a provision allowing pets to reside in the complex.
