482 SIGNATURES AND OUR NEXT STEPS

In just four weeks, 482 people have signed our petition calling for compassionate parking enforcement and better accessibility across the Nambucca Valley.

Thank you to every person who has signed, shared the petition or spoken with us about their experiences. Your support shows that this is not simply about one parking fine. It is about how parking rules affect older people, people with disability, those attending medical appointments and the family members and carers assisting them.

We are now preparing a formal submission for Nambucca Valley Council, supported by the petition and evidence we have gathered. We will be asking Council to consider:

💛 Clear guidance allowing reasonable discretion in genuine circumstances

💛 Compassionate enforcement training

💛 Safe passenger set down areas near medical services

💛 Better accessibility and clearer parking signage

💛 A review of how current enforcement practices affect vulnerable members of our community

We are only 18 signatures away from 500.
