"Compassion for Strays: Promoting Animal Welfare in Kalawaan”

INTRODUCTION:

The stray dogs and cats often do not get attention, but they battle every day for their food, shelter, and safety. Stray dogs and cats are often overlooked, yet they face daily struggles for food, shelter, and safety. This initiative in Kalawaan aims to educate the community about animal welfare, responsible pet ownership, and the importance of spaying and neutering. Through feeding programs, veterinary support, we strive to provide better lives for these animals while fostering a more compassionate and pet-friendly environment. By working together, we can make a difference and give these strays the care and protection they deserve.

 

PURPOSE:

The main purpose of this initiative is to sensitize the community over the plight of stray dogs and cats in Kalawaan and promote responsible pet ownership. The project will educate the community on animal welfare, conduct feeding programs, and provide veterinary support to benefit these animals while encouraging compassion and action among the local residents. Ultimately, the goal is to make their environment safer, healthier, and more pet-friendly, where strays are able to access the proper care and protection they deserve.

 

DESCRIPTION:

Stray dogs and cats often go unnoticed as they struggle daily for food, shelter, and safety. This initiative in Kalawaan seeks to raise awareness about animal welfare, promote responsible pet ownership, and emphasize the importance of spaying and neutering. Through feeding programs and veterinary support, we aim to improve the lives of these animals while creating a more compassionate, pet-friendly community. By joining forces, we can ensure these strays receive the care and protection they desperately need.

 

SUPPORT: 

The estimated budget needed for the project ranges from 10,000 to 15,000 PHP. This includes expenses for transportation, food for the strays, veterinary support, educational materials, event logistics, and other related fees necessary to ensure the success of the initiative.
