We, commuters, stand with PUV drivers and operators in support of their fight against the franchise consolidation and PUV Modernization Program.

We vow to defend the livelihoods of 140,000 drivers and 60,000 operators. Their struggle for their right to decent and secure work is deeply intertwined with our right to pro-people public transportation.

The PUVMP and franchise consolidation will not deliver its promise of progress, but is rather scheme towards the full corporate takeover of public transport.

We urge the Marcos-Duterte regime to abolish the December 31, 2023 franchise consolidation deadline and abolish the PUV Modernization Program. We will support and fight alongside our PUV drivers and operators until their demands are met.
