Dear Community,

We want to keep you clearly informed about where we are in the referendum process and what to expect in the coming weeks.

Current Status

We are currently awaiting the April 14th trigger date, when we expect the City’s approval will become official.

What Happens Next

• Within 3 days of April 14th, we will submit our referendum summary to the City for review.

• The City then has 10 days to review and request any adjustments.

• Once any City adjustments are received, we can begin collecting signatures on the official petition.

While the exact date may vary slightly, we anticipate having the official petition by April 27th (or sooner).

Signature Collection Window

Once the summary adjustments are received, we will have 30 days to gather signatures.

Our goal is to collect at least 2,500 signatures, though more is always better to ensure a strong and valid submission.

We are actively preparing to coordinate this effort with care, organization, and community support.

How You Can Help Now

At this stage, fundraising is especially critical.

Before we can begin collecting signatures, there are essential upfront costs—including advisors, legal guidance, and printing of official petition materials. These steps ensure the process is accurate, compliant, and set up for success.

You can also help by spreading awareness now—talking with neighbors, sharing information, and helping others understand what’s ahead so we are ready when the signature phase begins.
