At the January 28th City Council meeting, it was noted that the updated Sunset Crossroads Specific Plan proposal—received just the day before—did not allow adequate time for review. The decision was postponed to February 26th to allow more time.

We were informed the revised proposal would be posted online by February 12th to allow two full weeks for public review. When it did not appear on the primary project page, we raised concerns about transparency.

Since then, the updated materials have been located in a different section of the City’s website.

While we appreciate that the documents are available, major revisions to a project of this scale should be clearly and consistently posted where the public expects to find them. Accessibility is part of transparency.

Our community deserves clear communication and meaningful opportunity for review.

We encourage everyone to review the updated proposal and stay engaged ahead of the February 26th meeting.
