Emailed Letter Options:

⸻ Option 1: Short & Direct

Dear Mayor and Members of the City Council,

I urge the City Council to vote NO on the Sunset Crossroads Specific Plan.

Sincerely,

[Your Name]

[City of Residence]

⸻ Option 2: Short & Intentional

Dear Mayor and Members of the City Council,

I respectfully urge the City Council to vote NO on the Sunset Crossroads Specific Plan and protect this land for community wellness, environmental health, and future generations.

Sincerely,

[Your Name]

[City of Residence]

⸻ Option 3: Long & Intentional

Dear Mayor and Members of the City Council,

I am writing to respectfully urge you to vote NO on the Sunset Crossroads Specific Plan and all associated approvals.

This proposal would permanently convert over 500 acres of open land near residential areas into large-scale industrial development, with significant impacts to air quality, traffic, wildlife habitat, and community health. Once approved, this land cannot be restored to open space.

Banning has a rare opportunity to choose a future that prioritizes public wellness, environmental protection, and quality of life over additional industrial expansion. I ask that you deny the current proposal and support exploration of alternative uses that better serve residents, future generations, and the long-term resilience of our community.

Thank you for your time, service, and consideration of this important decision.

Sincerely,

[Your Name]

[City of Residence]
