I have a dream for Banning.

A dream rooted not in concrete and congestion,

but in breath, balance, and belonging.

I have a dream that this land we stand upon—

this sacred meeting place of sky, soil, and spirit—

is recognized not merely for its economic value,

but for its life-giving wisdom.

I dream of community wellness that is not an afterthought,

but a guiding principle.

Where children grow up knowing the names of birds,

where elders can walk safely beneath open skies,

and where families gather not under warehouse shadows,

but beneath trees that remember them.

I have a dream that we choose health over haste,

connection over consumption,

and long-term harmony over short-term gain.

I dream of a city that understands

that clean air is infrastructure,

that mental peace is public safety,

and that access to nature is not a luxury—

it is a human need.

I have a dream that our city becomes a place

where wellness lives not only in clinics,

but in trails and quiet spaces,

in community gardens and shaded paths,

in the simple, powerful act of being able to step outside

and feel safe, grounded, and alive.

I dream of land protected not because it is empty,

but because it is full—

full of life, full of possibility,

full of the unseen threads that hold ecosystems

and communities together.

I have a dream that our leaders listen deeply—

not just to data and plans,

but to the heartbeat of the people

and the subtle intelligence of the land itself.

I dream that future generations will look back and say:

“They chose wisely.

They chose wellness.

They chose love.”

When a community honors its land,

it honors its people.

When it protects its natural spaces,

it protects its soul.

I have a dream to leave a lasting legacy-

of wellness,

of community,

and of true success.

I have a dream for Banning—

that we remember who we are,

why we are here,

and that we choose a future

where humans and nature rise together,

in balance,

in love,

and in unity.
