The Issue

Joshua is not only a son, friend, and neighbor — he is most importantly a devoted father. His children deeply need him present in their lives, and his absence has left an emotional and financial strain that cannot be replaced. Joshua has always been a caring, loving parent who puts his family first, and those closest to him can attest to his strong character and dedication.
For the past four years, Joshua has also served as a coach in Franklin County, giving his time, energy, and guidance to young athletes. His role as a mentor and leader has had a positive impact on the lives of many youth in the community, further demonstrating his commitment to helping others and building a stronger future.
Those of us who know Joshua best can say with confidence that he is not a threat to our community. On the contrary, he is someone who brings love, stability, and support to those around him. He has shown responsibility, a willingness to learn from his mistakes, and a desire to live a better path forward.

We believe Joshua deserves the chance to be home with his children, where he can continue being the father and family member they desperately need. His release would not only benefit his loved ones, but also allow him to contribute positively to the community he calls home.
For these reasons, we respectfully and sincerely ask that you consider granting Joshua McCullough the opportunity for release or alternative sentencing.
