Topic: Opposition of Matthew Vanhecke, Level 3 Sex Offender, moving to the area of Woods Drive and Woods Circle in Victoria, MN on June 22nd, 2021.

I do not condone or support Matthew Vanhecke to move into the area of Woods Drive and Woods Circle. This neighborhood surrounds Victoria Elementary School. I believe Matthew poses a direct threat to the children within that neighborhood/community.

A neighborhood full of families with young children, parks, an elementary school and a community pool, all within less than a mile from this residence, is no place for a Level 3 sex offender. Level 3 is the most serious classification and legally indicates a “sexual predator.” The risk of repeat offense for a Level 3 sex offender is high.

To those charged with Matthew's supervision, we as a community implore you to reconsider your decision to allow Matthew to live within this residence. This neighborhood is not conducive for his recovery. If you care about the children that reside within this community, please do not allow this to happen.
