We are now seeing a return to the 'OLD WAYS' with banks folks.

Cases are now emerging, especially with the 'big 4' of victimising people who have made complaints against them.

Enough is enough. The Federal Government is all about protecting the 'high end of town' with no real protection being given to ordinary Australian Citizens against banks when they behave badly.

If you think AFCA can help - well what can you do when this does not happen. Recently, a case emerged when a customer with a legitimate complaint said they had evidence that the bank lied about and said did not exist! The AFCA 'early resolution team member' totally ignored this evidence, and formed a 'preliminary' opinion that the complaint had no substance?

If it were a court, the bank employee who said no evidence existed would be guilty of a serious offence of 'attempt to pervert the course of justice'. Unfortunately, AFCA have no teeth, and there appears to be no will to change things to make them REALLY accountable.

This is what this petition is all about. We need protection that really means something, not just the lip service we have so far.
